The time has come to tackle preverbal “elephant” in the room: who pooped? Books have been published to tackle the subject, and parents often spend countless hours discussing, in a roundabout way, the digestive system and the basic functions of life. Now, the Minnesota Zoo has created a website to join in on the party. In all seriousness, this is a great resource for the elementary classroom. Especially for those teachers who are struggling to hook students with life science concepts. I know I would have leapt out of my seat if we would have looked at various wild animal feces samples, but that is an entirely different story for an entirely different post. Anyways, a worthwhile resource for your life science arsenals.
